Highlights for John from 2009:
* Slowly but surely working on the basement remodeling. The electrical work is all done and John has even purchased his projector and can't wait to watch his first Husker game in HD on the big screen.
* Continued success at Millard Central Middle School teaching 7th grade reading. A few of his favorite books of 2009: Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, The Boxer and the Spy by Robert Parker, and Scat by Carl Hiassen.
* Bucket list items checked off in Hawaii: parasailing, surfing in Waikiki, and snorkeling in Haunama Bay.
